Dieses Lied hat mich genauso aus einer Tiefphase herausgeholt wie das Ereignis, das diesem Lied zugrunde liegt. Zur Abwechslung mal positive Klänge von Cotisuelto Smrz...
Über Wochen und Monate hinweg hatte ich nicht mehr die Muse gefunden, ein gescheites Lied zu schreiben. Dann hab ich mich verliebt und als ich es zum ersten Mal seitdem probiert habe, kam das komplette Lied dabei raus. Ein Lied, das sich endlich mal wieder von selbst schrieb - das tat gut!
Dieser Song ist sehr straight: Gitarre, Gesang, Bass, Schlagzeug und Rhodes Piano sind die Zutaten. Ich lasse es mir nicht mal nehmen am Ende ein Gitarrensolo zu spielen!
Ab diesem Lied wird es ohnehin sehr Frusciante-auf-Stadium-Arcadium-mäßig: Alle Lieder, die folgen, haben ein einwandfreies smrzsches E-Gitarrensolo.
Dass "4LC" zum einen für den im Lied erwähnten vierblättrigen Klee stehen kann, dürfte dem Hörer klar sein, jedoch verstecken sich noch ein paar andere Anspielungen in Titel und Song. Ach ja, und von welchem Lied ich hierfür geklaut hab, wird natürlich auch nicht verraten...
Und nächste Woche erwarten uns "Flashing Lights"...
