Annick Massis is currently one of the world's most highly acclaimed lyric coloratura sopranos. She has appeared in the most prestigious European opera houses such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona; Teatro Real, Madrid; Grand Théâtre de Genève (Geneva); Zurich Opera; ViennaStaatsoper; Deutsche Oper, Berlin; and La Monnaie, Brussels. In the United States, Annick Massis has sung at the Metropolitan Opera of New York, at the Pittsburgh Opera, as well as in Washington and at the Avery Fisher Hall. In her native France, she has given performances in the most important opera houses such as the Paris Opera (both at the Bastille and at the Palais Garnier), the Capitole, Toulouse, and the opera houses of Marseille, Nice, Montpellier, and the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris. Annick Massis has also sung at many of the major Italian stages - Teatro alla Scala of Milan, the Teatro Malibran and the Teatro de la Fenice (Venice), the Teatro Comunale (Florence), the Regio (Turin), as well as in Trieste, Naples, Rome and Cagliari.
